In Ephesians chapter 1 Paul prays a powerful yet simple three-point prayer for spiritual growth over the people of the church at Ephesus. This same prayer echos in the hearts of church leaders today, that the people we love and serve would have a greater revelation of God in their everyday lives.
As a community of faith, I believe we are called to pray with authority for our leaders and fellow believers on a regular basis. Using Paul’s simple strategy, we can learn to pray for greater revelation and understanding of God, his kingdom, and his plans for our lives.
