Life is full of unexpected moments that are both extremely beautiful and completely broken, often all at the same time. It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the broken and allow our focus to stay there, but broken is never where the story ends, in fact broken is often just the beginning.
To embrace all life has to offer us means that we have to choose to walk through the broken, but always be looking for the beautiful. We admit our humanity, but keep our eyes fixed on the redemptive beauty of Christ in all things.
In our darkest fears there is protection.
In our deepest pain there is comfort and peace.
In seasons of disillusionment there are moments of clarity and resolve.
In confusion, I’ve heard the tender whispers of truth flood my soul.
In my desire to disappear there is a community that won’t let me go.
For every broken assignment of the enemy that seeks to destroy there is a corresponding answer of redemption from the cross. Faith trains itself to look for the redemptive movement at all times. Can you see it?
