Session Four

Peace is ours. A precious gift that was purchased on the cross and given to us by our Savior, and yet so many of us are not living in peace. Our world is crippled by fear that manifests itself as worry, anxiety, panic and depression. When we give in to fearful thoughts it takes us down a slippery slope into a world where we desire to control and manage everything, but never can.

We need to wake up and realize that we are responsible for our own minds and what goes on up there. If Jesus gave us peace, then it is rightfully ours… and if we don’t have peace then we’ve allowed it to be stolen from us.

John 10:10 says that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.

We are in a war today for our peace. In our world, our country, but more importantly, within our own minds and hearts. We need to learn how to stand up and defend our peace. The Bible gives us some clear strategies and action steps to defend our peace in both our minds and our hearts.
